66 Uses for Acid Water
Acid water is a special feature of the water ionizers and we are not talking about acid or the acid you think of which can melt through metals and other materials. We are talking about acid water which is basically water with a pH that is less than 7.
As we know on the pH scale liquids can be characterized as being more acidic, neutral, and alkaline.
With the use of the ionizer now you can also create your own acid water some of the qualities of acid water are as follows:
Qualities of Acid Water include
· pH range between 2.0ph and 6.0ph
· Adding salt, the Acid water will have a hypochlorous acid component which can be used as an organic disinfectant
· Acid Water is micro clustered water
· Acid water has an ORP range from ORP of +500 to +1200
· Acid water has high content of hydrogen ions (H+) which causes the water to be more oxidizing and can be used to kill germs and bacteria
Two Types Of Acid Water
There are two types of acid water; mild and strong. ‘Mild’ acid water is used for the skin, hair and nails while ‘strong’ acid water is used for cleaning and sterilizing.

How to get the most of your ionizer to get the best Acid Water
With most ionizers in the market today there is a selection to get good strong acid water, but usually because of the way the machines are designed selecting the acid option will create good acid water but not the strongest acid water.
If you want to create the strongest acid water from your Ionizer you can follow the following steps:
1. Add 1 teaspoon of Iodized table salt into the mineral insert port of the ionizer.
2. Select Alkaline 4 or the highest alkaline level that you can create.
3. Turn the flow rate of the device with the side control flow valve to 1LPM or under
4. Then get the acid water from the waste water of the machine.
5. Collect the acid water into a small spray bottle and start disinfecting all the way!
By following these steps you will make the strongest acid water that your ionizer can make. The results will vary depending on the ionizer model and unit that you have. Also check out the 7 uses for alkaline water here or the benefits of drinking alkaline water
